This annual event focuses on specific regional risks, like earthquakes, floods and tsunami, and reinforces the importance of being ready for a disaster, but the Ministry of Civil Defence decided not to proceed with a Get Ready Week in 2011.
Group Meetings
The Hawke’s Bay Civil Defence Emergency Management Group meets at least twice a year and the agenda and minutes are posted on the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council website.
2011 Group Exercise Work Programme
The Coordinating Executive Group has committed to a programme of exercise activities over 2011. This includes participation in the national, multi-agency civil defence exercises.
