A frequent question asked when people are considering volunteering is “ How much time do volunteers need to commit?”
It depends on each Civil Defence Centre and what training they participate in, but generally the most that might be expected would be a one 2-hour training session each month.
Volunteer Managers (team leaders and alternates) need to commit a bit more time, on average at least an extra 2-hours a month.
